Why are we... soooo Particular?
While a purchase happens in a moment, often from a click on a screen to a package at the door, the production process is long. Many assume a factory is a place of magic where a drawing instantly becomes a physical object. In reality, there is no magic, only precision, patience, and people.

Our Selection Process
In furniture production, the human touch is the most important variable. Making hundreds or thousands of identical pieces by hand requires an intensity that machines cannot replicate. From cutting raw solid wood to the final sanding and painting, every step passes through a pair of hands. To achieve precision, those hands should have decades of experience.
This search for perfection is why we often change factories multiple times during the prototyping stage alone. Some of our initial partners struggled with the details. They felt our requirements were too much. We expected zero colour difference, a tiny 0.5mm tolerance for screws, and perfectly smooth edges. In this industry, these strict standards often earn a specific label, 'too particular'.

Refusing to Compromise
But to us, compromise is harder than being particular. If a product isn't good enough for us, it isn't good enough for our customers.
The factories we work with today believe in doing things right with great attention to detail, not just 'doing them fast'. They specialise in techniques that are tailored to each of our product ranges.

The People Behind the Design
We often enjoy the benefits of an object without knowing its origin. A 'good product' shouldn't just be a credit to the designer, the factory and the workers are just as deserving of pride. Every nut must turn smoothly, and every surface must be sanded until it is soft to the touch. These are the details that create the overall experience for the user, yet they are often neglected unless you look closely.

The Standards of a Partner
Our supply chain consultant notes that every factory has a different threshold. Some factories will simply do whatever the client asks, even if the structure is flawed, as long as the order volume is large.
Our factories are different. Because they are used to high-quality production, their internal standards are sometimes even higher than ours. When a batch of hardware arrived from a sub-supplier with slight imperfections, the workers themselves rejected it. They refused to turn a blind eye. This shared attitude—a refusal to settle for 'good enough'—is what makes our products stand the test of time.

Proudly Made with Intent
We believe that specialised factories are the future of high-quality manufacturing. By supporting original design and maintaining strict craftsmanship, these factories help us build a product from a drawing to a home.
We take immense pride in our products and the factories that made them. These partnerships allow us to provide parents and children with contemporary, reliable products that are Proudly Made in China with heart and purpose.
